Kentucky Bluegrass
Sheep Dogs Trials
Oaktree Cap
3rd Place Overall in the Advanced Pro-Novice

The Bluegrass is held in conjunction with events leading up to the Kentucky Derby. Folks bring their dogs from all over the country and Canada to compete in this national trial.
The Advance Pro-Novice Class is run in the same manner as the Open Class, but there is no shed in the APN. There are 2 rounds, and the scores from both rounds give you the "Overall" placings. The class on the first day had 41 dogs vying to be the overall winner.
After the smoke cleared from the first round Cap was setting in 2ndplace, just one point behind the leader. Cap started off the second round with a small miscue, but in this caliber of completion, it was enough to only give him a 6th place finish, but after all the scores were tallied up, Cap was the 2006 Third Place "Overall" winner.
